Credit Suisse Lichthof Chess Champions Day

This was a blitz double round-robin starring Garry Kasparov, Anatoly Karpov, Judit Polgar and Viktor Korchnoi.  Kasparov and Karpov shared first place with 4.5/6; Judit scored 2.5 and Korchnoi scored 0.5 (he was probably tired as he had come from another tournament).

This is one of those events (85 players) where I do not have much success trying to pick out the women players based solely on name.  The event was won by GM Dao Thien Hai 2549 VIE 8.0/11.  Chess femmes who participated (as best I can tell) and their final results: (17) WGM Eesha Karavade 2316 IND 7.0; (33) WIM Le Kieu Thien Kim 2329 VIE, 6.0; (40) WGM Nguyen Thi Thanh Anh 2317 VIE, 5.5; (41) WFM Sukandar Irine Kharisma 2237 INA, 5.5; (55) WIM Rani Hamid 2144 BAN, 5.0; (73) WIM Nguyen Quynh Anh 2120 VIE, 4.0.  I apologize to any chess femmes I omitted.
